This spring, we at Quebedeaux Mitsubishi recommend that you take the time to explore the outdoors around Tucson. With various national parks and outdoor wonders to discover, we think it would be a shame if you didn’t take advantage of all that the surrounding Tucson wilderness has to offer. Here are a few of our favorite parks and outdoor areas that we strongly recommend.
Sabino Canyon: This popular natural wonder is located on the northeast edge of the Catalina Mountains. Stroll around, enjoy the views, and pack a picnic for a fun and scenic afternoon. If you’d like, you can venture into the surrounding Coronado National Forest, which offers various trails for hiking and horseback riding.
Lemmon Ski Resort: This is a versatile attraction that you can enjoy year-round. Venture to the top in winter for some quality skiing, or hike the mountain’s trails in the summer.
Colossal Cave Mountain Park: While here, you can take an informative and thrilling tour of the cave, learning all about its interesting history. Its also comfortably cool, providing a nice respite from hot Tucson weather. The area also has a museum to learn about local wildlife.
Saguaro National Park: Head to Saguaro National Park to experience the famed saguaro cactus that only grows in the Sonoran Desert. Enjoy the park by a taking a relaxing driving tour, or venture out into the heat and hike to get closer views.

Just this past February, the all-new 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross landed in the states. As a compact crossover SUV, the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross is part of one of the fastest growing segments. In spite of the tough competition, the Eclipse Cross distinguishes itself due to its vibrant design, fun driving experience, and advanced features.
2018 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV
The 2018 Eclipse Cross is not the only Mitsubishi vehicle recently released within the United States. This past December, Mitsubishi released the Outlander PHEV, a mind-blowingly innovative vehicle. It is the world’s first plug-in hybrid SUV – and also features standard all-wheel drive. This vehicle offers two electric motors, as opposed to the traditional one, allowing the Outlander PHEV to supply electric power directly to both the front and rear axles. What’s more, it has an MPGe of 74 miles. At Quebedeaux Mitsubishi, we’re thrilled that these two vehicles are now available in the states.
The Eclipse Cross offers similar levels of innovation and adventure to American drivers, while also offering a dash of daring design. It comes with a 1.5-liter direct-injection turbo engine as well as the same Super All-Wheel Control system as the Outlander PHEV. Its advanced tech far exceeds competitors, offering a standard 7-inch infotainment system, Head-Up Display (HUD), power-sliding panoramic sunroof, and more fun and desirable features that are sure to delight drivers.
