Spring is officially just a few weeks away, but here in Arizona we’re already enjoying ideal weather. That means it’s time to head outdoors now before temperatures reach triple-digits in a few months. Here are some great outdoor events near Tucson in March that you should consider adding to your calendar.
- March 3-5 – Wild Wild West Steampunk Convention: Wander the streets of Old Tucson and you’ll feel like you’ve actually stepped back in time; arrive in a costume for even more fun. There will be train rides, concerts, street performers, and so much more.
- March 1-April 2 – Arizona Renaissance Festival: Go back to the 16th century and watch jousting knights, watch actors perform live on stage, explore over 200 artisan stands, eat as many turkey legs as you can, and have a day filled with fun.
- March 1-April 30 – Presidio Museum Walking Tours: This museum recreates the original Presidio, which encompassed about 11 acres of what is currently downtown Tucson. With these tours, you can get a more in-depth look at what daily life looked like in the late 1700s.
- March 11-12 – Tucson Festival of Books: If you love books, be sure to head to this festival that will host more than 350 authors for panel discussions, presentations, and more. There will also be a special program for visitors of all ages.
Here at Quebedeaux Mitsubishi, we are looking forward to heading outdoors this month and having some fun.
