Tucson, Arizona is always alive with plenty of things to do. Summer in Tucson certainly isn’t boring by any stretch of the imagination. With June out of the way, July is here, and there are plenty of Tucson July events to go around regardless of where your interests lie.
July starts on a Friday, which means July 1st starts off with a Friday Night Live event in Main Gate Square where visitors can relax and enjoy live jazz music. If you’re looking for more live music, Enrique Iglesias will be in town at the AVA Amphitheater on July 2nd, or enjoy any of the many musical events throughout the month, like the Sizzling Summer Sounds Cabaret Series.
If local nature and history is more your jam, the Creatures of the Night showing at Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum also falls on July 2nd. There’s also the Sweet Corn Festival July 9th through 10th, and Steam Pump Ranch offers special activities like live music, special tours, cultural presentations, and more on the 9th.
A number of events will celebrate Independence Day, like Military Appreciation Day at the International Wildlife Museum, the FC Tucson 4th of July Blast, or Casino Del Sol Resort’s Free Fireworks Extravaganza. There’s, of course, plenty more where that came from, so be sure to keep an eye on what’s going on in town for the Fourth.
As the month goes on, more and more Tucson July events will unfurl; there’s no way to list all of them. Keep an eye on the local event calendar for whatever strikes your interest.
