St. Patrick’s Day is one of the most fun and laidback holidays in the US, and there’s no better way to celebrate than with tons of green desserts! Whether you’re making them for your kids or you want a snack to go with your mug of green beer, you’ll definitely want to try some of these St. Patrick’s Day food recipes.
There are a few green flavors that go perfectly with St. Patrick’s Day, so make sure to incorporate them! Genius Kitchen suggests chocolate-mint dream cookies with chocolate drizzle and green frosting, as well as crème de menthe brownies, a big brownie version of Andes chocolates. Yes, please!
Chocolate-dipped matcha shortbread cookies are also bound to be a hit, especially paired with green tea, or make a delicious matcha cheesecake! And don’t forget lime—gooey key lime bars and lime cheesecake squares are a fantastic addition to your St. Patrick’s Day dessert menu.
You don’t have to have a green flavor to make it green, though! Add green food coloring to your marshmallow fluff for green rice crispy treats, or make cupcakes with shamrock sprinkles on top. Any dessert can be St. Patrick’s Day-themed if you’re creative!

Tucson is one of the most culturally diverse cities in the southwest, and the many events and festivals we have throughout the year are proof of this. From street fairs to concerts to museum events and everything in between, there are tons of things to do in Tucson in March.
At the very beginning of the month, catch Monster Jam®, which will take place over the weekend of March 2 to March 4 and puts on an incredible monster truck show in the iconic Tucson Arena and Convention Center. If you’re not interested in big trucks, try the 4th Avenue Spring Street Fair the same weekend, where you can visit over 400 arts and crafts booths and much more.
Tucson Winter Chamber Music Festival
The week of March 4, see the 25th Tucson Winter Chamber Music Festival. A series of concerts, master classes, a gala dinner, and even a youth concert organized by artistic director Peter Rejto will leave you amazed by the world-class talents of these musicians.
Oro Valley Spring Festival of the Arts
Toward the end of the month, you won’t want to miss the Oro Valley Spring Festival of the Arts, a two-day festival with over a hundred artists and exhibitors in every art medium, plus performances, activities, and food vendors.

Autumn is already in full-swing, while winter is set to arrive fairly soon. Fortunately, for those of us who live in Arizona, these two seasons are a little milder then they would be elsewhere in the country. As such, there is still plenty of time to explore the natural beauty that the Grand Canyon State has to offer. Here are just a few relaxing getaways in Arizona to plan a trip to this year.
The Grand Canyon
Speaking of the Grand Canyon State, no list of Arizona attractions would be complete without a mention of one of the world’s natural wonders: the Grand Canyon itself. While crowds can pile up for this national attraction during the summer months, things tend to die down a bit in the fall and winter. Plus, you don’t have to deal with the sweltering heat, either.
Chiricahua National Monument
While the Grand Canyon might be Arizona’s most famous national monument, it certainly isn’t the only monument located here. Arizona residents will also enjoy the Chiricahua National Monument. Dubbed the “wonderland of rocks,” Chiricahua National Monument is home to some of the most fascinating rock formations found anywhere in the world.
Bill Williams River National Wildlife Refuge
If you’re a big bird enthusiast, then the Bill Williams River National Wildlife Refuge is undoubtedly the place for you. Each year, a variety of different avian species migrate to Arizona to escape the harsher winters up north. One of the best places to spot these birds is along the riverbank at this wildlife refuge.

October is one of the best months of the year for festivals and events, thanks to fall starting, Halloween, and much more. Here are some of the most exciting October Events in Tucson.
One of these events is the Mexican Baseball Fiesta, which will take place at the beginning of October, on the weekend of the 5th through the 8th. This event brings together favorite teams from Mexico’s Pacific Coast minor league baseball league in a series of games against players from Major League Baseball teams.
In mid-October, from the 13th to the 15th, check out the Tucson Meet Yourself event, a massive outdoor food court that celebrates the Arizona-Sonora folk and ethnic communities by displaying and selling their food and art.
Film Fest Tucson will take place the following weekend, starting on Thursday the 19th and continuing through the 22nd. Featuring films from Arizona’s history as well as new independent films, this festival celebrates the city’s long history of filmmaking.
For Halloween, check out the 22nd annual Pumpkin Festival and Corn Maze, which will take place every Saturday and Sunday throughout October, or check out one of the many film and music events being held at The Screening Room, the Rialto Theater, and the Fox Tucson Theater.

Quebedeaux Mitsubishi is fortunate enough to be located in one of the most beautiful states in our country. There are so many natural wonders in Arizona that you could go to one a month and still not see them all in a year. Here are some of our favorite Arizona road trip destinations.
You’ve probably seen pictures of this otherworldly canyon. Its smooth, sweeping walls and the shadowy lighting have a distinct look. You’ll find Antelope Canyon near Page, Arizona.
Coal Mine Canyon
This big, open canyon provides a breathtaking view that any traveler could appreciate. Tucked away discretely between Tuba City and Kykotsmovi, it’s easy to miss, but you’ll be sorry if you did.
Of course the Grand Canyon is on our list of must-see Arizona spots. But that’s a big place, and if we had to pick a special corner within the canyon, it would be Havasu Falls. Beautiful blue waters and an energetic, mystical waterfall are the perfect break from the red rocks of the canyon.
Lake Havasu State Park
Arizona has more to offer than its many beautiful canyons. A getaway with tropical undertones lies within state borders at Lake Havasu State Park. Palm trees and white sand run along the Colorado River and Lake Havasu for a sweet taste of paradise.
What’s better than a swimming pool on a super hot summer day? Consider a natural swimming hole to keep you cool. Lucky for those of us at Quebedeaux Mitsubishi and the rest of the Arizonans, there are plenty of natural spots perfect for this very purpose. Here are three Arizona waterfalls that will do the job and give you something beautiful to look at.
This oasis of a waterfall is located within the Grand Canyon. Access it via a long hike, which will warm you up and get you in the mood for a dip, or get there by kayak. Whichever way you choose, you’ll be glad you made it out to this hidden gem.
Fossil Creek will require you to obtain a permit in advance for your visit, but it’s worth the extra step. This is a favorite swimming spot among Arizonans, and once you dip your toes in this beautiful water you’ll see why.
The waterfalls at Slide Rock State Park are modest, but that’s perfect for someone looking for a quieter, more peaceful option. The water here is cool and refreshing, and the park is just outside of Sedona so you can hop over to town when you’re finished for a bite to eat.
